16TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF CHAIRS
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2017
6:00PM - 10:00PM
UCA HPER CENTER
We are celebrating our 16th Annual Festival of Chairs. This celebration includes live, silent and super silent auctions, a "Drawing for Diamonds" raffle, food provided by local restaurants, a beer and wine bar, and the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.
The Festival of Chairs' signature feature is the beautifully re-purposed chairs by local artists. The chairs are symbolic of the children and families that the Children’s Advocacy Alliance serves on a daily basis. These chairs, along with other works of art and hundreds of other unique items, are featured in live, silent and super silent auctions.
In addition to the auction items is the "Drawing for Diamonds" raffle. This raffle item is a diamond ring donated by Fletcher Smith's Jewelers worth thousands of dollars.
Our vision is a community united in the protection of all children. Your support helps us continue to recruit, screen and train CASA advocates, family advocates, and helps us provide medical exams and forensic interviews, so that every child in our community who is abused or neglected has a voice for justice and a place for hope.
The Children’s Advocacy Alliance is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Faulkner, Van Buren, Searcy, Pope and Conway counties. The Children’s Advocacy Alliance oversees both the Children’s Advocacy Center and the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the 20th Judicial District.
The two programs work side by side to provide coordinated guidance, treatment and support for child victims of abuse and neglect, from the initial investigation of abuse to their placement in a safe and permanent home.
The Alliance is a place for hope and a voice for justice.
